Meeting Date/Time/Location

Regular board of education meetings are scheduled for the third Monday of the month at 6:00 p.m. in the Collaborative Center on the east side of the High School (Door #3). Occasionally, the meeting will be rescheduled due to holidays or breaks.

School board meeting dates are below for the 2023-2024 school year. Meeting information can be found by clicking on "Meetings" located above.
On the 1st Monday of the month, a Virtual Consent Agenda meeting will be held at 4:30pm. The dates for 2023-24 are:
December 4, January 8, February 5, March 4, April 1, May 6, June 3, July 1, August 5, September 9, October 7, November 4.

On the 3rd Monday of the month, the Regular School Board meeting will be at 6pm at the North Polk Collaborative Center, 13930 NE 6th St, Alleman, IA, 50007. The dates for 2023-24 are:
December 18, January 22, February 26, March 18, April 15, May 20, June 17, July 15, August 19, September 16, October 21, November 18.

Speaking at a Board Meeting

The Superintendent and Board of Directors of North Polk Community School District welcome comments from the public.  You are requested to complete a comment sheet before the start of the meeting stating your request to speak to the Board.  These sheets are available from the Board Secretary.  Please review the Public Comment Procedures before beginning your comments. Board Policy 213 and 213.01.
