The Woodward-Granger Board of Education exists to represent and serve the stakeholders of WGCSD. Meetings are generally held on the third Monday of the month at 5:30 P.M. and alternate venues between Woodward and Granger.  Meetings in Woodward are held in the high school media center (306 West Third Street. Meetings in Granger are held in the elementary media center (2002 Oak Street). We encourage you to actively participate in school board meetings and/or your local School Improvement Advisory Committee meetings.

Long-range Goals
  • WGCSD school sites will perform within the High Performing or Exceptional range on the Iowa School Performance Profile.
  • WGCSD will increase the district ELA and Mathematics percent proficient composite scores to at least 85.
  • WGCSD will increase the district ELA and Mathematics Growth composite score to at least 60.
  • WGCSD will increase the districts Conditions for Learning composite to at least 60.
  • WGCSD will identify and adopt valid and reliable methods to monitor the strategic planning pillars, Student Well-being, Family and Community Engagement, and Organizational and Service Excellence.
  • WGCSD will maintain a Solvency Ratio and Unspent Authorized Budget (UAB) ration between 15-17%.
  • WGCSD will achieve and maintain a positive open enrollment net.
