The School Board is composed of five members elected from geographical districts and a Chairman is elected by the members of the board. Members serve four-year staggered terms.  All members of the Board of Education hold certification of professional training provided by the Georgia School Boards Association.

The board meetings will be on the third Tuesday of each month with the exception of February,  April, and October.  The work session will be held prior to the board meeting at 6:00 p.m.. 

All Board meetings will begin at 7:00 p.m
