Board Meetings
The meetings are held at the Franklin County School System Administrative Offices located at 280 Busha Road, Carnesville, Georgia. Meetings begin at 6:00 p.m. The Franklin County Board of Education generally meets on the 1st Thursday and the following Tuesday of every month. Occasionally, there is a variant to that schedule based on holidays and school breaks. For the most up-to-date list of meeting dates please click here.
If you wish to address the Board of Education or comment on any issues, please contact the Superintendent's office at 706-384-4554, extension 11330 or by emailing brenda.tatum@franklin.k12.ga.us. In your email, put the following in the subject line, "Request to be on the Board Meeting Agenda" and then state your name and the purpose for which you would like to address the board.
