The Muscogee County Board of Education is the governing body of the Muscogee County School District.  The primary role of the Board is the legislation of school system policies, which are executed under the direction of the Superintendent of Education.

All Regular Board Meetings begin at 6:00 p.m., and will be held on the third Monday of each month (unless noticed for some other time) in the Board Room at the Public Education Center, 2960 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia.

All Work Sessions begin at 5:00 p.m. (unless noticed for some other time), and will be held on the second Monday of each month (unless noticed for some other time) in the Board room at the Public Education Center, 2960 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia.
