Because of our relationship with Kelly Services we also reached out to them and they believe they can accommodate us as well. Obviously, they have a presence in this market which is attractive but deploying custodians under a prescribed cleaning program on a large scale like this would be something new for them and their cost is higher than Primero. We believe that rather than pursuing the contractor route again it would be better to move in the direction of a staffing company. This gives us more control over the cleaning program as we will be involved in management, supervision, and training aspects along with Primero. Additionally, we will only pay for those employees who are on site working each day. Our goal would be to contract with Primero Staffing beginning December 19, 2016. Starting prior to December 19 may be necessary depending upon how the termination of our current contract cleaning agreement plays out and Primero can be ready to step in and provide their services sooner if needed. It is our hope that contracting through Primero Staffing for custodial labor will be a successful partnership that we can continue into fiscal year 2018 and beyond. As part of preparations for the FY ’18 budget our staff will compile the labor, supplies, and equipment figures that we believe appropriate to carry out this new approach to cleaning our buildings for health -- the quad flow cleaning system which we will call the Barrow Bold Cleaning Program. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
