Results of final survey:

1. Cedar Creek Elementary School - 52.27%

2. Berry Elementary School - 25.00%

3. Winder Elementary School - 22.73%

Members of the Interim Governance Team included Spencer Breedlove, Johnnie Ellington, Karen Garren, Gretchen Hollingsworth, Kay Holloway, Kelley McDaniel.

Prior to the last Board meeting, Mr. Jerry Stapleton, the new elementary school principal, met with the Interim Governance Team and reviewed the entire list of names submitted through the survey. They collaboratively arrived at a "short list" and recommended that the names on the short list be submitted to all families of current students zoned to the new elementary school. That survey was sent to 349 households and was posted for three weeks. With less than 1% margin between the top three names for the school, the original survey was re-submitted to the families of students in the new elementary school attendance zone:
