Authorize the purchase of 124 HP laptops from low bid vendor Best Buy of South Richfield, MN in the amount of $120,442.44

Laptops are required to meet the district goal of providing digital design curriculum in the art classrooms in all four middle schools. 30 student laptops and 1 teacher laptop per school will be deployed, for a total of 124 laptops. An RFP was posted, with 8 vendors responding. Bid respondent SAI did not provide a 3-year no fault accidental drop protection (ADP) warranty line item option as required in the RFP.

Low bid respondent Best Buy of South Richfield, MN met all the terms of the RFP and we have successfully done business with them before. They are not adversely listed in the SAM.GOV database.
