Submitted to respectfully ask Dr. McMichael to recommend acceptance of Lawson A/C and Plumbing for the Replacement of the Cooling Tower at Westside Middle School.

Maintenance collected and reviewed three proposals.  Lawson A/C and Plumbing from Gainesville, GA is the recommended contractor.

$40,908.00   Funding source from Maintenance and Operation funds.

The existing cooling tower at Westside Middle School is original to the building and has met its useful life.  Numerous patches have been done to this tower to prolong its life, but now is the time to replace before additional A/C issues arise in the building.
