Summary | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
As part of the district's efforts to keep critical technology in good order, an RFP was published to replace 180 projectors of various makes in the district with Epson interactive projectors. Non working and poorly working projectors around the district were identified for this initial round of projector refresh. This will be a yearly project as funds allow. After evaluating the responses, sufficient funds are available in the budget to allow for the purchase of an additional 19 projectors (which are needed), bringing the total count to be purchased to 199. Seven vendors responded to the RFP. One response was disqualified for failing to meet the terms of the RFP.
The low bid respondent TechOptics met the terms of the RFP and has done similar business with the district before. They are not adversely listed in the sam.gov database.
