Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees, Laramie County School District Number One, Cheyenne, Wyoming, hereinafter referred to as "Owner", will receive sealed bid proposals for MOUNTAIN VIEW 5/6 ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, 402 West Wallick Road Cheyenne, Wyoming, 82007.
BIDS WILL BE RECEIVED UNTIL 1:00 P.M., JUNE 10, 2026, in Laramie County School District Number One’s Planning and Construction Office, 2810 House Avenue, Room 202, Cheyenne, Wyoming 82001. At this time all attachments are due from General Contractors. However, at this time only the names of the Subcontractors need to be filled in on the Proposed Subcontractors Form (Section 00 43 36). Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud at 3:00 P.M., JUNE 10, 2026, in the District’s Board Room located in Storey Gym, 2811 House Avenue, Cheyenne, Wyoming 82001, after the fully completed Proposed Subcontractors Form (Section 00 43 36) is due. All attendees will be required to get badges at the District Administration Building, 2810 House Avenue, Door #1, prior to the bid opening. Please bring photo identification.
ROOFING CONTRACTORS PRE-QUALIFICATION PROCEDURE
Prior to submitting a bid, roofing contractors must be pre-approved and shall submit the qualifications form located in Section 00 45 13.10 of the specifications on or before 10:00 A.M., MAY 27, 2026. Qualification forms submitted after this date will not be accepted. Qualifications forms shall be submitted to: FDL Consulting, LLC. Submitted information will be reviewed by the district, and contractors will be notified in writing of the determination. Only bids submitted by contractors pre-approved by the district will be accepted.
A PRE BID CONFERENCE WILL BE HELD AT 1:00 P.M., MAY 26, 2026, in the District’s Board Room located in Storey Gym, 2811 House Avenue, Cheyenne, Wyoming 82001. Attendance is strongly recommended for general contractors. Prime subcontractors are encouraged to attend. All attendees will be required to get badges at the District Administration Building, 2810 House Avenue, Door #1, prior to the pre-proposal conference. Please bring photo identification.

Pursuant to Wyoming State Statues 16-6-102 and 16-6-103 the contract will be let to the responsible certified resident making the lowest bid if the certified resident's bid is not more than five percent (5%) higher than that of the lowest responsible non-resident bidder.
Pursuant to Wyoming State Statues 16-6-104, and 16-6-106, "preference is hereby given to materials, supplies, agricultural products, equipment, machinery and provisions produced, manufactured or grown in Wyoming, or supplied by a resident of the state, quality being equal to articles offered by the competitors outside of the state.”
The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and informalities in the bidding or in any bid, reject any or all bids without further obligation and to accept any bid deemed in the best interest of Laramie County School District Number One.
