Those statements were developed based on the district's statement of philosophy:
The basic premise of the philosophy of the Madison County School District is putting children first. Each student possesses those qualities and characteristics necessary to become a productive and successful individual. It is the goal of the school district to provide each student with the maximum opportunity to realize his/her full potential.
A second premise upon which our philosophy is based in the need to relate to the whole student. While academics and intellectual development of the student are our primary concerns, social and emotional development cannot be ignored. All areas of growth must be stimulated and guided to reach mature levels of development.
It is also the belief of the school district that to reach the highest level of achievement in these areas, the commitment and close cooperation of the school, the student, and the parent is required.

During this comprehensive review, we identify strengths and weaknesses revealed by the data, as well as common threads and themes across data sets. We discuss potential root causes and develop action plans to sustain strengths and address weaknesses. Presentation, including the agenda, is attached.&PM_Finance=one of our strategic goals is to operate efficiently and efficiently manage resources. to that end, we do include financial performance targets in our balanced scorecard each year. we monitor the fund reserve, the proportion of budget that goes directly to supporting teaching and learning in classrooms, and the number of audit findings. you can view this information under the goal iii performance targets for any plan year. monthly financial reports are given to the board of education in a public meeting each month, and the yearly operating budget is typically approved in june of each year, also at a public board of education meeting. during the budget process each spring, stakeholders, including faculty, staff, and community, are invited to submit needs/requests as part of the budget process. all of these requests are reviewed. to view monthly financial reports or the latest approved budget, please visit our board of education meeting agendas and minutes on eboard at this link: https://simbli.eboardsolutions.com/index.aspx?s=4109 once on the eboard page, please click on "meetings" at the top and then "board meetings." &PM_Performance=As we receive data related to our performance targets each year, that information is entered into the plan and becomes part of the ongoing balanced scorecard.
