Initiatives, Action Steps

- - Action Step 1-Align curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices to support mastery of the standards.
  - Action Step 2-Provide technology to students and faculty to facilitate personalized learning and optimize mastery of the standards and increase post-secondary career readiness.
  - Action Step 3-Design learning tasks and opportunities that are challenging, require problem solving, capitalize on student interests and promote creative but viable solutions.
- - Action Step 1-Provide students with quality advisement to ensure that they are on track to graduate and are enrolled in courses that will challenge them appropriately including advanced courses at all levels, dual enrollment, and CTAE classes.
  - Action Step 2-Intervene when students are struggling by maximizing flexible learning time, tailoring support to meet specific student needs and offering unit and credit recovery options when possible to keep students in school and on track to graduate.
- - Action Step 1-Conduct a Professional Learning Needs Assessment annually and use those results along with the Comprehensive Needs Assessment to prioritize professional learning initiatives.
