Welcome to GAMUT. This site is used by the Board of Education to organize, manage, and align critical information for the district including board meetings. We invite all of our community stakeholders to access this site to better understand the work that is happening in our district and we welcome your input and dialog to help us best serve our students.
The Modesto City Schools Board of Education is made up of seven members who are elected by district to serve four-year terms.
Board members determine school district policy, authorize new programs and curricula, adopt budgets, approve staff employment, determine salary schedules and provide a unique and crucial link between the community and the school district.
